SMS Terms & Conditions

Who is sending

Text messages under this program are sent by DC Solar KC, a trade name of DC Solar LLC, a solar installation company based in Lee's Summit, MO, serving the greater Kansas City metro. Messages are sent from our business number, (816) 744-6473.

What we send

These are customer-care and account messages about your solar project, such as:

Appointment scheduling and reminders
“On our way” and “arrived” notices from our crew
Job status updates
Estimates, invoices, and receipts
Occasional requests for feedback or a review after your project is complete

We do not send marketing or promotional text campaigns under this program.

Consent and how often

You receive texts only if you gave us your mobile number and agreed to be texted — on our estimate or contract form, in the DC Solar KC app, or by texting us first. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing anything from us. Message frequency varies; typically a handful of messages per project.

Cost

We do not charge for texts, but message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.

How to stop, resume, or get help

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You may receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed.
Reply START to resume receiving texts.
Reply HELP for help, or call 816-274-2415.

Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include all major US carriers; delivery is subject to carrier network availability.

Your information

We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS consent with anyone for marketing purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data is not shared with any third party. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle personal information.
